Digital Technicians

My love for photography began in High School where I learned to mix darkroom chemistry and develop my own work for the first time. I began my career in photography at the age of 19 as a photo and production assistant for various photographers in Los Angeles. Shortly thereafter, I shifted my focus from on the set to another role with cameras, equipment and photo production. In 2007 I joined the DigitalFusion team as the equipment manager, one year later starting the rental department. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with the most fascinating photographers, clients, and digital technicians. I reside in Los Angeles, where I often spend my off time discovering new places, cooking and taking pictures.

Growing up in Northern California Drew started studying photography at a young age. It all started because he heard photo classes were an easy A in high school. Well, the joke was on him because he never put down a camera after that. Continuing his photography education at Sierra College he received an award for photographer of the year. He chose to transfer to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to major in Fine Art and Design with a concentration in Photography. He received another award for photographer of the year shortly before receiving his BFA. After graduation, it was an easy move to Los Angeles where he has been digital teching and pursuing photography ever since.

Hello! Sara here.  I’m a creative, tech savvy, slightly quirky individual that has experience with photo production, studio management, fine art photography, and of course making expensive photography equipment work.  I enjoy nerding out on an array of camera and computer platforms, as well as blending into, perhaps enhancing, your personal workflow.   Maintaining Phase One’s digital tech certification is important to me, in addition to my bachelors degree in Fine Art and Photography from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I grew up rollerblading the streets of Rocklin, in Northern California (remember it was cool) and then found myself in sunny LA, feeling at home.
